The debut show of the NORTHWEST BLUES STARS will happen on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12 , 2023 at Seattle’s TRIPLE DOOR theatre. This show is being produced by STEVE SARKOWSKY who was the founder and primary talent buyer for the HIGHWAY 99 BLUES CLUB. It will feature 6 talented Northwest musicians who will present a show based around the classic blues “hits” that we all know.

“It was time to do a show where everyone knows this music and the songs have been time tested” said Sarkowsky. “This is a chance for the fans to enjoy classic as well as revamped versions of songs by some of the great blues artists” he added. All of the band members were regular performers at Highway 99.

Music from BB King, Etta James, T Bone Walker, Koko Taylor, Little Walter, Eric Clapton, Slim Harpo and Muddy Waters will be featured to just name a few of the artists to be covered.

Scheduled to appear for this show are: Kevin Sutton on guitar and vocals; Tommy Wall on bass and vocals; Jeff Conlin on keys and Steve Sarkowsky on drums. Special guests for the show include POLLY O’ KEARY on bass and vocals and JOEL ASTLEY on harp and vocals. Polly, Kevin and Joel have been awarded “best of” by the Washington Blues Society and are band leaders in their own bands.
